Xmas for real!

I had a very tough year, a really tough one. Call me whining or whatsoever, but all I focused in 2012 was how to get pass days, a day by a day. All the scars and fears that left over from 2011 did not treat me well. I spent one year cleaning up the mess of my life. One full year full of tears.

Now that it's almost the end of 2012, I'm proud to say I have gotten a lot better. I happened to caught up on time to clean up most of the crisis that has been lingering. 2013 seems like it's going to be a pretty fresh year. God decides to give me all these good friends who are willing to spend time with the most pathetic girl during holidays and time-offs so I wouldn't be by myself, and most importantly, they make sure I'm not crying alone. I'm grateful. It's always the end of a year that makes us think, huh?

I'm finally able to call us a blessing instead of a regret.

Merry Xmas 2012!

Merry Xmas! It's only Christmas eve today. I didn't have much to do since I'm still sick, so I played around with makeup attempting a Xmas look!

Majority of the colors on my eyes are light green, dark green, dark blue. Used black eyeliner on top eyelids and green and silver eyeliner on bottom.

Picture came out blurring all the color but meh, I had fun!

Ipsy- December glambag

The December glambag came in earlier than I thought this month. But I was so busy with work, I didn't have the time to post up a review.

•Mirabella- prime for face & eye
•NYX- loose pearl shadow (in mocha pearl)
•bombshell- hot mess lip gloss

All of these products are amazing. Especially urban decay's eye pencil. I actually already own one in black already and I cannot express enough how much I love that product. It's just so good!

The bombshell lipgloss is also a perfect color. I have always wanted a bright red lipgloss and just happened to never got one until now. I'm planning to wear this next time!

The highlighter paper is interesting too. It just makes highlighting so much easier.

Thoughts: the lip gloss is extremely hard in the tube. Almost impossible to squeeze out. Meh.

•hanskin premium perfect super magic bb cream SPF30 PA++
Thoughts: A pretty nice BB cream but not with maximum coverage. Good to use this on a causal day.

•nurse age reform time release retinol concentrate
Thoughts: a pretty nice product. It leaves my skin around the eyes very soft and moisturized. Will consider buying this in full size

•philosophy living grace shampoo, bath & shower gel
Thoughts: love almost everything from philosophy.

•delaney wellness rejuvenating eye cream
Thoughts: very very nice eye cream. I love this little thing. Skin around my eyes tend to be a little darker due to dryness and tiredness, this product shows instant improvement. Full size costs $135, so expensive but may worth the price.

About 3 more weeks until Xmas and it seems like I'm spending alone this year. Meh, totally fine with it. I just realized the reason why I'm spending Xmas alone this year is because I am just too stubborn. So I guess I have finally made up my mind. I'm nobody for anyone at this moment, but I will work hard to be somebody for someone.

Sephora: haul post! Black Friday 2012!

So I finally got my package from Sephora for stuffs that I ordered on Black Friday! What a stressful process trying to let UPS leave the package in front of my door. The UPS lady told me there's nothing she can do if the driver doesn't take the slip and my package would be sent back if so. I'm like, wahh?! But, but, those are goodies that I scored on black Friday through a crazy Internet traffic battle,

Anyway, I got my package and here are some of the stuffs. All of them are $10 only and are in great value! (besides the two lollipop lipgloss, they were 6 each I think). Great brands, great values, great deals!

Now, I can't wait to get my forever21 package. Yes, yes, yes... I said I would never buy from them online again because of their terrible customer service and attitude, but I didn't want to be on a physical Black Friday trip. Lol.

Baggages- how to let them off your back?

The first thing that came to my mind this morning was the picture of me crying at Disneyworld over a year ago. Then I realized, someone owes me an apology for all this time.

What a jerk. Just because you no longer loved a person, didn't mean it was okay to give the person such a long lasting scar. I promise next year, I will go back to Disneyworld and re-do this horrible memory.

This year's Xmas, I will go see the Xmas tree and fulfill all those empty promises that everyone made. I will go count down on new year eve in a pretty dress and dance like a rockstar.

I will go to Vegas; I will go to Maryland; I will go to Boston; I will go to California; I will to to LA; I will fulfill everything by myself and I will do it better by myself.

And this is how you leave your baggages behind, just saying!

Another end of another year and I wonder what I have achieved. Hmm... I got promoted, took an exam and failed it, spoke my mind for one last time, fallen sick, struggled through personal problems, went through and still going through family crisis, etc. Compared to last year, I'm not sure which year is more difficult. 2011 was at least good for the first half, and 2012 has pretty much been down, down, and down, well, one or two ups from here and there. Now all that I hope for 2013 is to cure this neuropathic pain in my head and simply just be a little bit happier and a little less tears than now.

Purple and Golden Nails

A very simple post of the nails that did during hurricane sandy night.

Using two different color nail polishes and tapes only. I used two metallic nail polishes and it seems like they came out great!
